The physical basis
- Understanding climate change from observations and Earth system modelling, climate scenarios and projections, and the impacts of climate change: sea level and extreme events.
Climate services for adaptation and mitigation
- International processes and agreements, and climate services, the bodies involved and their roles.
- Uncertainty in climate change and statistical tools.
Adaptation
- The impact of climate change on coastal hazards and adaptation strategies, and its impact on water resources and adaptation to it.
