Registration and Website Terms

Scope of the terms

These terms apply to every registration made through the website or by email for courses announced by Technology Experts Training Center, and to programmes designed for organisations unless the organisation's contract provides otherwise.

Registration and seat confirmation

• Registration is a request; a seat is confirmed only upon receipt of the fees or an approved purchase order from the employer, or by written confirmation from the Center for free courses.
• The registrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, particularly the trainee's name in Arabic and English as it should appear on the certificate.
• The Center may decline a registration that does not meet the programme's requirements or admission criteria.

Fees and payment

• Fees for announced courses are published on each course page in Saudi riyals, including VAT.
• Payment is made by bank transfer against a quotation issued at registration, or by a purchase order from the employer followed by payment according to the quotation sent to it. A quotation is valid for fourteen days from its date unless otherwise stated.
• Groups of three or more trainees from the same organisation receive an agreed special rate, and in-house programmes are quoted separately.

Cancellation, postponement and substitution

This policy applies to announced courses. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Center's email address.

• Cancellation seven or more working days before the course starts: the full amount paid is refunded, or transferred to a later date, as the registrant prefers.
• Cancellation less than seven working days before the course: the amount is transferred to a later date of the same course within twelve months and is not refunded.
• Non-attendance without notice: the full fee is payable.
• A trainee may be replaced by another from the same organisation at any time before the course starts, free of charge.
• The Center may postpone or cancel a course for operational reasons; registrants will be notified at least five working days before the date wherever possible, and may receive a full refund or transfer to another date. The Center does not bear any travel or accommodation costs associated with a cancellation.

Attendance and certificates

• The training certificate is issued to trainees who attend at least 80 per cent of the course days and complete the final evaluation, and is printed in the trainee's name as entered at registration.
• Each certificate carries a unique number and a verification code, and any organisation can verify it through the verification page on the website.
• The training certificate documents completion of a Center programme; it is not a professional licence and does not replace the examinations of regulatory authorities.
• A lost certificate may be reissued, or its details corrected, at the holder's request, and the Center may revoke a certificate found to have been issued on the basis of incorrect information.

Course material and intellectual property

The course material, recordings and question bank are the property of the Center or its licensing partners, and are provided to the trainee for personal learning use. They may not be copied, published or used to train others without written permission.

Conduct during the course

Trainees must follow safety instructions in the classroom and in the field, respect the instructor and fellow trainees, and not record sessions without permission. The Center may remove anyone who breaches these rules without refunding the fees.

Use of the website

The content is published to introduce the Center's programmes, and dates and topics may change before contracting. The website and its forms may not be used to send misleading content or to attempt to access administration pages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the courts of Riyadh have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not resolved amicably. These terms are to be read together with the privacy policy.
