How Technology Experts Training Center collects, uses and stores your data, and your rights over it, in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Who we are
Technology Experts Training Center is a training provider licensed by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), part of Technology Experts International Trading & Contracting Co., and based in Riyadh. The Center is the controller of, and is responsible for, the data collected through this website.
Data we collect
We collect the data you provide to us directly when using the website, and we do not collect data from other sources.
- Course registration data: the trainee's name in Arabic and English, email address, mobile number, job title, the organisation's name and VAT number when registering on behalf of an organisation, and the details of the contact or procurement person if payment by the employer is selected.
- Contact form data: name, organisation, email, mobile number and message text.
- Programme evaluation data: ratings and comments, and name and email if provided.
- Practice exam results: the score and its breakdown by topic, and name and email if optionally provided.
- Certificate register: certificate holder's name, programme, date, hours, certificate number and status.
Why we use it
- Processing registrations: confirming seats, issuing quotations, communicating about the course, and sending joining details and course material.
- Issuing and verifying certificates: the trainee's name is printed as entered at registration, and certificate numbers can be verified publicly with the minimum of data.
- Meeting the requirements of licensing and accrediting authorities when they request trainee records.
- Improving programmes using aggregated evaluation results.
- Sending dates of new courses to those who have explicitly agreed to receive them, with the option to unsubscribe at any time via a link in the message.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or trade your data. We share it only with service providers working on our behalf, and only to the extent the service requires:
- The website hosting and security provider, which stores registration and certificate records in a protected data store.
- The email delivery provider for confirmations, quotations and joining details.
- The mailing list provider, for those who have agreed to receive course dates.
- Licensing and accrediting government authorities, upon a lawful request.
When registering on behalf of an employer, the registration details and quotation are shared with the contact person the trainee specified within their organisation.
Retention period
- Registration records, quotations and contact messages: up to four hundred days from their date, after which they are deleted automatically unless the law requires longer retention.
- Certificate register: retained permanently, because verification of a certificate may be requested years after it is issued.
- Evaluation and practice exam results: up to two years, after which they are used only in aggregated form that does not identify the individual.
Cookies and analytics
The website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Your browser stores simple preferences locally, such as language or the step you reached in a form, and these never leave your device. If visitor analytics are enabled, they will be of a type that uses no cookies and does not personally identify the visitor.
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, to correct it, to request its deletion once the purpose of keeping it no longer applies, to withdraw your consent to the mailing list, and to object to processing that has no lawful basis. Requests can be sent to [email protected] or by phone on +966 11 248 1747, and we respond within thirty days at most. The number of a certificate that has already been issued cannot be deleted from the verification register, but its status or the holder's details can be amended if there is an error.
Data security
Data is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in a repository accessible only to authorised Center staff with an administrative code. The public verification page shows only the certificate details that are printed on the certificate itself.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy when our services or the applicable regulations change, and we record the date of the last update at the top of the page. Continuing to use the website after an update indicates that you have read it.
