- The main stages and methods of an exploration project, the concepts of resources and reserves, and exploration and investment budgets.
Criticality of mineral resources
- Approaches and parameters for assessing criticality, and how they change over time and between stakeholders.
Exploitation and beneficiation of mineral resources
- The concept of responsible mining, technical and economic aspects, and environmental constraints.
- Mining and ore processing techniques, and by-products, co-products and intermediate products.
- Mine site closure and remediation, and the determinants of mineral resource prices.
